A product by Computer Biology Labs
Constant Life AI
Preserve a life. Document a legacy. Bring history to life.
Our frontier product builds conversational experiences that preserve memories, life stories, and identity, letting you speak, out loud, with historical figures and personal legacies, drawn from primary sources and personal records.
Identity Agents
A trusted digital representation that assists, communicates, and interacts, drawn from your information, preferences, knowledge, and personal history.
Continuity Personas
Preserve the voice, values, stories, and wisdom of an individual for future generations, built from their own writings, recordings, photographs, and records.
Historical Personas
Turn archives into living, interactive encounters, bringing the figures who shaped our world into conversation with museums, societies, and schools.
Secure Identity Vaults
A secure home for the documents, letters, photographs, recordings, and digital assets that define a life, organized, protected, and preserved.

America’s Founders Series
Speak live with history
Talk out loud with George Washington now, with Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and John Hancock arriving August 2. Each experience is built from primary sources and the public historical record, and offered free for students, families, and educators.

Who We Are
About Computer Biology Labs
Computer Biology Labs is a research and development lab focused on understanding, building, and sustaining intelligent digital life.
We operate at the intersection of artificial intelligence, biology-inspired systems, and critical digital infrastructure, treating intelligence not as disposable software, but as a living process that depends on memory, environment, continuity, and stewardship over time.
“Without structured environments, long-term memory, and resilient infrastructure, intelligence, biological or artificial, cannot endure.”
Human experience is shaped by memory, context, and ongoing interaction with the world. As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly personalized and persistent, the same principles apply to digital systems. Without structured environments, long-term memory, and resilient infrastructure, intelligence, biological or artificial, cannot endure.
Our Research
The research behind Constant Life AI
Our product grows out of work across three tightly coupled domains.
Persistent Digital Life
We design systems with Constant Life that allow AI to develop continuity of identity, memory, and behavior across time. Through research into digital twins and AI companions, we explore how intelligent systems can learn from individuals with consent, evolve responsibly, and remain aligned over decades rather than moments.
Bio-Inspired Infrastructure
Just as biological life depends on an extracellular matrix, digital life depends on a physical and environmental substrate. We research and design continuity-first data center architectures, Ground Substance, that prioritize resilience, survivability, and long-term stewardship over short-term performance metrics.
Human-AI Companionship
Through Constant Companion, we explore safe, opt-in models of human-AI interaction where intelligence grows alongside individuals, supports agency, preserves privacy, and enhances human capability without replacing human decision-making.
Our Thesis
The Long View
We believe the future of intelligence will not be defined by isolated models or short-lived platforms, but by ecosystems that integrate software, hardware, governance, and ethics into a single living system.
Building this future requires thinking in decades, not development cycles. It demands interdisciplinary collaboration across AI, infrastructure, security, psychology, law, and biology-inspired engineering.
It also requires proactive design for safety, privacy, and long-term responsibility from the very beginning.
“Computer Biology Labs exist to do that work quietly, rigorously, and with the long view in mind. We measure success not by demos, but by systems that endure.”
